TightEnd - to be honest there was quite a small field here to begin with, and Americans for whatever reason stayed away. I fancy Roland to go far if he doesn't start messing around, and Adam Lounis played very well yesterday. Juha Helppi's triple-through puts him in a strong position. I have no idea who Garrett Patrick is but he is a sizeable chip leader.

Garrett Patrick is from Colorado

I think I will support Juha, apart from Rolandinho of course. Need to root for someone!

Ilya Buliechev is crippled by Imraan Ladak in an unusual pot.  The pot was already 60,000 by the turn when the board looked like: .  Ilya (small blind) bet out and Imraan (big blind) raised all-in.  He was called and showed 9 4 for two pair against Ilya's 9 6.  The on the turn changed nothing and Ilya now has 22k

Juha Helppi is on Roland's immediate right and it folds round to him in the small blind.  He makes it 16,000 to go (b.b.4000).  Roland talks a lot and calls.  The flop is As .  Juha bets out 20k and Roland calls.  They check the three diamonds turn and the river.  Juha shows J6 off and Roland KQ.  "What if I bet?" asks Juha.  "I know you don't have it - I call" replies Roland in a flash, who is now sitting on 263,000 and the probable chip lead.

Frank Kassela OUT.  On a flop of he bet at his opponent Alan Goehring who put him all-in.  Call; they were on their backs with Frank showing 4 6 of clubs ("I'm on a draw") and Alan 6 3 of diamonds.  Turn , River .  Two pair for Alan Goehring and about 240,000

Double-through for Ilya Buliechev with 77 vs Alex Kuzmin's AKoff.  The 7 on the flop put his mind at rest and gave him some breathing room.  (Quote from Tim Anders: "I think a Russian is going to win this pot."

The very next hand short-stacked Kuzmin goes all-in holding for around 25k and is called by Alan Goehring with 10c.  The ten on the flop adds a chunk to Alan's stack and eliminates Kuzmin in 19th place.

Possible table redraw....

Ariston I don't think you need to worry about Roland playing his natural game.  He looks like he's having fun.  Comes and tells me when something exciting is happening.  Which is most of the time.

Just hope he holds it together if he takes a beat. Roland like me unfortunately has the occaiosional blow up joined with tilt like tendancies. Just hope he manages to bring it home. 18 people between 400k and the glory he seeks Grin

They are hand-for-hand now and everybody gets up to watch whichever table is still going last.  Spectators are two deep outside the Rope (it's great being actually in the room).  I will post chip counts as soon as the next player is eliminated.

Adam Lounis doubles up off of Curt Kohlberg.  Adam bet out 40k (about half his stack) on a 4 7 3 K board.  Curt raised him all-in and after a bit of swearing in French he called showing K7.  Curt's AA found no help and Adam has about 190,000 now.

Curt Kohlberg    160k
Peter Heighway  26k
Carlos de Silva    22k
Gilles Haddad     95k
Michel Zajdenberg  210k
Garrett Patrick    200k

STILL hand for hand
