Im not going to post anything on this thread just yet, as i dont think it would be fair to post something i may regret later, so i will think about some of the things ive read here, and get back to yous all with my comments at a later date, when my blood stops boiling.

Dave, I love your avatar. In fact, to be honest the only thing that could have made it better would be John Barnes instead of Gordon Strachan holding that rag in the air. Although to be fair, it is a very close call.

Personally speaking, as a lifelong celtic fan who managed to get to Seville (bah!), I think the last two results have been a disgrace. I was against the appointment of Strachan from the off but was hoping that I'd be wrong and he'd turn out ok.

Then, in the space of 90 minutes he managed to destroy any credibility Celtic had gained in Europe under O'Neill and turn in one of the most inept openings to a season I'd seen in some time. Even Barnes managed to look convincing for a few games at the start.

I truly fear the worst for this season. If i  could just find J2offsuit.....

Precisely monkey bhoy, i just cant seem to get over the lack of investment, from the board after Seville, its all coming back to Haunt them....or should i say us!

I have to agree with you. You were in a great position after the Eurpean run and money should have been invested to take you to the next level. Obvoulsy I am pleased it wasn't as I think we may have had trouble catching up for a few years. O'Neil going was great news for me and was amazed Strachan was appointed. He was a failureat Coventry so way should he make a success at CarParkHead?
Optimistic about the coming year, fingers crossed Lovenkrands stays though.

celtic won tonight and ranger only managed a draw but both teams are trailing hearts who are managerless after they sacked the only manager that has given them a chance of winning silverware in last 5000 years

I always said, when I first moved to Scotland. The first team to split the old firm is going to be my adopted Scottish team. I've assumed this is going to be Hearts this season.... but having said that, the way things are going it might be Hibs!
