Of course not.

The four people mentioned are all fictional nominees, however three of them acted as a pseudonym for a real person, one didn't. Which?

Basically, sometimes in films, directors etc may use fake names in the credits for various non-acting roles. (often for themselves)

This is what the four names are. They were nominated for oscars, but they don't actually exist as real names. Most likely it's a made up pseudonym.

However, there is one in there that not only doesn't exist, but isn't even a fake name for a real person.

Which?

Yes, I'm going to need to confirm that one with TightEnd as he was the QuizMaster for last week. Although, the correct answer (6ft) was given by the winner.

Sometimes directors, writers (or whoever) make up fake names for the film credits rather than use their own real name. (Why? I'm not sure. For fun perhaps?)

For example, if Adam Goulding made a film, then chose to put himself down as Adam Smith on the credits (for whatever reason), then he (me) would be using a pseudonym.

The four options for that question are all pseudonyms that received Oscar nominations.

In one case (of the four), the fake name isn't even a replacement or modificaton of someone's real name. It is completely made up.

You need to tell me which one it is.

So you are asking which one ISN'T a pseudonym, why not just ask that?

For question 13 see here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/in_depth/2001/grand_national/1220128.stm

The height was reduced to 5ft 2in - this article is from 2001.

Tell Tighty it's time to give his 1994 Big Book of Sporting Facts back to the library.
