Another questionable answer:  Imola is NOT in San Marino, it is in Italy.  See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Marino and here http://www.autodromoimola.com/

The question was NOT which countries grand prix is held there!

i think Italy should stand as a correct answer as well the height of the Fence for the Grand National. It was 6' as Tighty correctly said but the question was what IS the height not what WAS the height.

Any chance we can have the resutls re-totted up?

not amused- i got 19/20 and am not even listed on the leaderboard even though I got my answers in within an hour of the sprts quiz going up. The only one I got wrong is the grand national one where I went for the chair at 5ft 2 as well as many others.

sorry mate your wrong- the chair is 5ft 2 tall as confirmed by many sites- the one you have means the fence is 6ft high including the ditch- the take off height (or height the horse has to jump) is 5ft 2.

The chair also has a 6ft long ditch- the site you are using is wrong. Just google height of the chair grand national and see how many sites confirm the chair is 5ft 2 in height

You ARE listed, but you only scored 17. Questions 10, 13, and 20 were wrong according to Tightend's answers.

ok whufc do another google search and u will find around 500000 other sites that quote the correct height of the chair. It is one of the most common pub quiz questions and everyone knows its 5ft 2 (does it not seem strange to you that all the other fences range from 4ft 6 to 5ft and one is suddenly 6ft?) I own shares in a couples of dozy nags and I will have a side bet with you that the correct height is 5ft 2 (any other sites that quote 6ft will all be the same text copied and pasted from your original incorrect site).
I always get my boxing weights wrong and san marino- doh.
Still I got 18 and wh clearly googled as did tightend to find the 6ft one so I say they should be flogged.
