Leeds Vs Watford worth a punt?
«

Well as a Leeds fan I am backing Watford to clinch promotion. Not only do I think they are the better team, but it would mean I dont feel as bad if I lump on them and they win. I have seen 4/5 of them getting promotion.
Anyone got anytips for the game?

Watford
I think Bothroyd is one of the next big things in British football management, not that Blackwell isn't good too. What he has done with Watford is sensational because Marlon King apart, they are journeymen.
I fancy Watford quite strongly

Nice one Tighty. After the Palace demolition it was set in stone IMO.

Without doubt in my mind.
However, I did want Leeds to win, they should be in the Premiership, as they are a massive club.

this doesn't follow imo if you excuse me being pedantic for a second.
Fortunately the sole criteria for premiership entry isn't fan base which gives your Pompey's Watford's and maybe one day AFC Wimbledon's (to give a far fetched example) a chance whilst Wolves and their ilk underperform

I'm with Nemesis here. I like seeing well supported clubs in the top flight. Clubs with history of success. Forest where they are now is upsetting IMO.

I understand people liking it...but it does not mean they SHOULD be in the Premiership
(guess the supporter of medium sized provincial club with chip on shoulder......)

Yes, I agree no-one has the "right" to play in the Premiership but I like seeing the big clubs up there. It makes for better competition, long-run.

This is what I meant.
No team 'should' have the right to play at in the top division, they have to earn it. But, I personally want to see the biggest clubs plying their trade in the top division.

If one wanted to be really pedantic, would it not be a sole criterion ?
Pedantic, moi......

Don't be pedantic

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
