Tom Burns rubber!

Good News,

Just heard from Tom Burns. He's just got out of hospital a couple of days early. Reports are he was last seen burning rubber en route to Birmingham.

Guessing it will be a couple of weeks before he's back on the scene but as you can well imagine, he's in fine spirits knowing he'll be in the comfort of his own home. Thanks to you guys for all your kind wishes. He really appreciated it.

What happened to him Billy?

I remember him telling me of how he lost the use of his legs in the first place. Not a nice story.

HGV accident. He's been in for a couple of minor ops. He's FINE....just can't be up in his chair for more than a couple of hours per day till he gets the all clear. He'll soon be back on the circuit.

Tom's mentioned he'll be checkin out the Nottingham scene (sounds lively) so I'll tag along for the ride and try my luck there too....

Now I realise who you are talking about, I remember meeting Tom in Walsall a few weeks ago, when he knocked me and another blondite out in one hand. Pleasant chap. Please pass on best wishes.
