The thing is Vinnie, I have played Ash about 30 times now at Backgammon. And in truth, he is a better player than me.The fact that he has only beaten me 3 or 4 times really gets to him. In fact, I keep telling him time and time again how much better he is at the game. Needless to say, that pisses him off even more. Don't tell him, but I have been practicing this last year by playing online. But I honestly (yeah right) don't get any joy from beating him - I just do it for the rest of the Notts crowd that seems to take great pleasure when he loses. Wonder why?

Funny you should say that Fran, I tried to get him to do one on Cup Final day (even offered to help and pay for the meat, well for Ash to pay for the meat). Shame you weren't around in the old days, I had one at my house for about sevety poker players ( I think your Dad was there?). The rule was that poker would NOT be mentioned at all. Funny thing was, we all ended going to Nottts for the big one that Sunday. Guess what? The last four included me and Kim and two of the guests. No coice but to chop.

thats so funny, kim told me the exact same story when we were talking about bbqs.

I want the family trait - Gap front teeth! That could be arranged, in fact that will be on my list of "things to buy" when I win a WSOP event.

Edit - I did inherent one family trait.  Self Belief!!  Cheesy
