absolutely delighted - i personally reckon he makes the Czexh team tick more than Nedved does.

You really are full of it.

If Spurs had signed him, I wonder if you would thought the same?

Very unlikely.

Anyway, Spurs are buying the real thing in Nedved. You can have Rosicky.

im really pleased with the signing. i saw him at highbury when we played dortmund a couple of years ago and he was said to be the danger man. looks good for the czech.

nem i didnt realise spurs were ever after him until i heard it today and yes if spurs signed him  i would say it was a good signing and be pissed off we never as we tried a couple of years back( after 2004 i think )

as for you signing jenas instead of him. the only reason jenas went to you was because he was that bad in the opening game of the season at highbury we didnt want him, and by the way you have to be in the CL to get players of Rosicky's quilities Cheesy

He never managed to live up to his previous transfer fee, or to the hype he had as a 21 year old....

Great player and a great signing for the Gooners.  If he is half as good in real life as he is in champ manager  Cheesy

Seriously though a fantastic player and wenger has an eye for a good player.

He has signed for £7million

pretty much the same price you paid for Jenas

Yet Rosicky has over 50 international caps and 18 goals and got to the semis of euro 2004 with one of Europe's best international teams over the past 6-8 years.

And you wonder why Wenger hardly buys English??  For this exact reason.

I am being sensible here - yes i would like more English players in the Arsenal team but at the end of the day i want the best players at the right prices and i dont care what their nationality is.

English players are grossly over-priced.

The reason that English players are over priced is that they are proven in the EPL.

No worries, he can go with that Pleb you bought last season.

Heskey or Henry for £10.5 mill.

Ill take my chance on a World class international rather than a 'proven' premiership player

Crouch, Bramble, Seth Johnston, i cant even be bothered to go on as the list is endless - all average players but grossly over-priced coz they have an English passport.

Hleb is decent - lets see his 2nd season

Part of the reason for the inflated prices of domestic players is because people don't want to release players who will come back to bite them on the arse, and part is because clubs are willing to pay a little bit more for a 'proven' (or just have to barriers to) being a settled performer at this level. There is of course the issue of actually wanting to play a part in the development of the nation teams game - by developing and bringing on some young english players.... plus exchange rates etc etc

Arsenal = Ashley Cole as the only one in Wengers time. (because he rightly got shot of pennant).

And Upson whom Arsene and I never felt was good enough.

I wouldnt say he brought him through, though i'm not sure how many games he played. I thought they only tended to be when they were at the bare bones...

What do all you Gooners think about Fenebache offering £7million for Big Lemon Sol?

Bite-hand-off comes to mind, but I don't think Sol will go to Turkey, because he will be too far away from his "Mummy".
