YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH

Have a go at this

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read ...
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate
(more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1756 ....
If you haven't, add 1755.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how! many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2006) IT WILL EVER WORK.

Strictly speaking this equation does work - provided you were born during the 20th century.

Better make sure Tikay doesnt attempt this because when you subtract 1880 in as the year of birth it messes the calculation up!!

Indeed, and don't get JP to try it either. He was born in 2001 and that will screw the sums too.

It is quite amazing though, enter your year of birth, whether you've had your birthday or not, and it tells you how old you are.

How does it manage.

I think I missed a step....apparently I'm 3,831

Or is it meant to show how old you feel?

2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. banana flavoring
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
3 mashed bananas

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, and soda. Add buttermilk. Then add bananas, flavoring, and nuts. Bake for 25 min at 375 degrees in a 15x10 inch pan until lightly brown.

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 milk

Melt butter. Add sugar and boil 2 minutes at slow boil. Add milk and stir just until it comes to a boil. Add vanilla. Cool slightly an dadd powdered sugar. Frost while bars are still warm. For caramel frosting, use 1/2 c. brow sugar instead of white sugar.
