With 10bb left I limped with QQ, got the raise elsewhere I wanted, stuck it all in and the A came on the river to send me home

My mate was in the last 5 when I left having got paid on QQ and, yes you've guessed it KK!!!

For others the context is that a shortstacked red-dog got moved to my table, found KK first hand and twice more I think, raised, limped and saw a flop where an A came and then another time raised and got no action. Marvellous!

i e he tried everything and got the rub down from the player on his left on how to play them!

Hard luck mate, as you might expect everyone.....Tom is amusing company at the table!!

My starting table last night....Riverdave,Dave Courtney, solid, fish, tight aggressive, action dave,me, rich aggressive, jac arama, lovejoy.

Number of pots unraised in first three levels=0
big blinds defended=0

Riverdave was rock like in their company

Enjoyed this...

raise from EP (loose aggressive), Re raise from button (solid), BB (maniac but talented) calls, EP calls...three to the flop

Flop A 4 5 rainbow

EP bets, Button raises, BB goes all -in

EP folds, and button holding AK and covered by BB, starts to dwell...............

Your thoughts on what you do here everyone........

I take it BB has check-raised, so I would guess that he flopped a set.

44 or 55 ?

 Undecided

I once managed a similar thing with 24off from the bb. On a flop of A35 a betting war statred between AA and 55 with me trapped in the middle simply calling. On the turn when the remainder of the money went in (I didnt make one bet or raise) it was another player on the table who pointed out "Ive never seen russ checking and calling so much- he must have the str8". Good job the f bomb rule wasnt in effect or the other 2 would still be serving their penalties now Grin

in vegas i was on the sb with 24, there was about 5 limpers so i thought just for value i would make up the bb. the flop came 2 4 6 2 hearts. acting 1st i bet 600 and got a call from joe grech turn came 2 to give me the full house, i checked joe bet 1k into the pot i flat called. A on the river i bet but he folded he was drawing to the flush. i wish he had made it

For the record, I picked up KK 4 times in 10 hands, I raised once, limped once, and went all in twice, pass pass pass pass, so I set bb all in from sb with KQs.......Goodnight!!
