All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic heavy elements may not be used where there is life. Medium atomic weights are available: Gold, Lead, Copper, Jet, Diamond, Radium, Sapphire, Silver and Steel. Sapphire and Steel have been assigned.

I've heard that this classic TV series is making a come back to TV. I know there are some new assignments on audio only but does anyone know anything further?

Not the same McGooey - The Dr always regenerated, so having someone else play the Dr was expected at some point.

Surely Sapphire and Steel are supernatural whatevers and can pick any appearance they like?

Also, the Doctor only 'regenerated' after the producers realised they needed a gimmick to explain the change of actor. Something similar could undoubtedly be thought up for S+S!

they are humanoid representations of transuranic heavy elements so i suppose they can take any form they like. last i saw them they were locked in a cafe in the middle of nowhere which was then hurtled into space. that was 20 odd years ago...a lot can happen between then and now...

and who is to say it will be sapphire and steel. cant be silver cos he betrayed them and ran off with the other elements

would like them to do more with the other elements. we only heard of gold and only saw lead once

I used to enjoy watching this, and have some episodes on VHS (since the R2 DVD's have been deleted.)

Good program, would happily watch more of it.
