Hmm, download adaware and also run your anti virus scanner.

Adaware won't detect all the nasties (i'd guess it picks up <50%).

Anyways what Antivirus program do you run? Is it up to date? When was the last time you ran a scan?

No viruses mate, your firewall just detected the scan (which at least means it's working).
The link is 100% good, it is one of the very best scanners out there.

I meant anti virus not firewall.
I can promise that the link has no viruses.

Bit out of date now but here's an article:

http://windowssecrets.com/comp/050127/#story1

GIANT was bought by MS and is now MS Defender or whatever they call it.

Best advice is to use more than one for scans.

Interesting, i have 3 different scanners:
microsoft
spybot
adaware
If i run them in that order adaware still seems to find something the others missed.
What do you think the best one is?

TBH they all seem to find something the others haven't picked up, which is why I wouldn't rely on only one.

SpySweeper has also been handy in the past removing an infection on a clients machine that wouldn't budge any other way (even manually!).
