I'd like to thank my Mum and Dad, Dell computers, Mr Smirnoff and Red-dog who all played an integral role in bringing about this momentous occasion.

Well done all who took part. It's a lot of fun and there were some cracking entries!

I had four entries (scattergun approach obviously worked)

Last 3 were mine as well as the "red-dog shows his ugly mug in blackpool and also his charming ceramic dave seamen card protector cup."

I didn't want to admit to the last one as i know red used to box a bit and has a tasty right cross when he's reet cross....

i entered 42 times but only 2 show up!!

I came up with an awsome caption but snoopy quoted the hares already running rule on me and wouldnt chuck it in as a late runner!

i ask for some creative mid-voting strategic intervention from snoopy which he also denied(also known as rigging)

plus if you check the earlier caption comp thread i was against this system of voting from the start

"My poker woes seem to disappear after a mouthful off Seaman" (This had 3 levels to work on, each getting filthier)

1 - Mouthful off Seaman i.e. a drink from the container (Seaman) ****Kid friendly****
2 - Mouthful off Seaman i.e. a bollocking/telling off from Seaman ****Teenager friendly****
3 - Mouthful of Semen ermm ****Adult friendly****

PLUS my one and only entry rather than these pretenders masquerading as caption kings and queens, but posting 4 or 5 entries.

I am obviously AA in this hand and Junglecat03 is 27off, as they say in poker - every kipper has his day!

This was well in the lead at the start and then the fixing, bribing and msning mates started and that was the end of it.

People will read about this day in 20 years time, long may all of you hang your heads in shame.

I get your point though, given that it was well in the lead for many hours (until the conspiracy kicked in) and came a very healthy third, many people must have needed that explanation.
