After the 2nd day of the 2nd Test here are the scores.

Sri Lanka 141 & 86-4; England 295

Sri Lanka still require 68 runs to make England bat again.

How many tests have been won from Sri Lanka's spot?

I thought one wouldn't be able to lay them for less than 100. To my surrprise, you can lay them on Betfair at 27!

I don't have a betfair account yet, but layed them at 32 on Betdaq.

So I'm going to either win a pound, or witness cricket history and lose thirty-one.

I reckon it's worth getting on Betfair for some free dosh if you aren't making any other bets with money in your account this Saturday. If you've $1,196 lying around, you could win $46 unless Beefy Botham comes out of retirement claiming Sri Lankan heritage.

I'll spend my winnings on Fanta.  It's on promotion at my local corner shop. If any Glasgow blondes are reading this, get on that too.  Cheesy

What about a draw, the weatehr is looking like a typical bank holiday weekend. Rain, rain and rain. Hope you haven't bought the fanta yet!

True, never bet against English weather.

As I've layed Sri Lanka to win, a draw would mean I'd still win my pound.

If it rains all day, I'm a happy so and so. (Although I'd have to wait for the fizz)

Ooh err.

You can now lay Sri Lanka at 11.5 on betfair, after a decent day at the crease for them.

They are 40 runs ahead, but have only 5 wickets left before England take their second innings and (hopefully) close out the match.

The pitch is a bit dodgy apparently, so I doubt Sri Lanka will be able to pile on much more runs with their tail enders tomorrow.

I think they're just trying to keep it interesting, I have a spot in the fridge all ready for the Fanta and ain't sweating yet.

If they manage to get 200+ in front with Murli bowling could be interesting

Exactly, that's why the price appeared a bit skinny.

Especially after the first innings collapse and KP accounting for half the score.

Job done.  Cool

Just learning this gig, guess it wasn't that great a bet, but it came through by 6 wickets.

Didn't know about the commission, so it's only 95p I've won.
I've raided the sofa for the other 4p and am now the proud owner of 2L of fanta.
