Worst film I was ever made to watch was that "Pay It Forward" keech - with her from Silence of the Lambs & the kid who did "I see dead people". Scmalltzy crap - I cheered when the wee toerag got chibbed at the end.
Other nominees:
The Fantastic Four - how to make a pretty lame comic look better - by making such a bad film the comics seem better by comparison. A film so bad Jessica Alba's gorgeous bod couldn't save it.
I so looked forward to the 3 Star Wars prequels - and now so wish they hadn't been made. Gratuitous references to future characters - Chewie fighting beside Yoda?? NNNNNOOO!!!!!!!

Notable mention to Bad Boys II.
Actually anything by Micheal Bay/Jerry Bruckheimer needs binning.
I agree.
Worst 3 films are -
Love Actually (you let her choose one film and get subjected to that utter utter drivel)
Troy (what a waste of 3 hours)
Euro trip (watched this as it was just lying about the other day, truly awful)

I have to issue the red card there, Jerry Bruckheimer had been involved in some greatly entertaining movies, Gone in 60 seconds, con air, Bad boys, and I think The Rock, as well.
When I go to the cinema, rent a DVD/Video, or buy one for that matter I want to be entertained, The Bruckheimer movies i have seen do that for me, entertain me for a few hours, get the adrenalin pumping and a few plot twists just to keep it plausable.
Binning all Bruckheimer movies just seems a little OTT in my opinion.
Sorry but every one of the films you have listed above are shockers for me. Entertaining in a "dont need to think" type way yes - but awful scripts, acting and plots.
"Put the bunny back in the box" indeed.

I will have to go and watch it again now. I missed the story first time round, I found Jessica Alba too distracting
DareDevil was the worst comic book film

I actually preferred Daredevil
- they at least tried to keep to the storyline. FF was just a mongolian clusterf**k of cut corners, reinvented characters & well, crap.

Actually, now that I think about it, nominating sequels is just too easy; for the reasons I mentioned above, they are far more likely to fall into the option d) commercial s*** bracket than other films.

Sure these movies are no brain required, plonk yer ar*e down and veg out for a couple of hours type films, although some times you need that, thats what bruckheimer is good at.
Now if you look at a movie like Last man standing, truely terrible. a remake of a japanese movie "Yojimbo" which in its own right is a fantastic piece of cinema with Toshiro Miafune in the lead role, however the Bruce Willis version of 1996 made you walk from the cinema in disgust as such a poor attempt to westernise, modernise and remake a classic movie.
Can you put the Bruckheimer movies in this category, one when you would walk from the cinema?
I know I can't as they have some raw entertainment value, not thought provoking, or industry changing in the ways that some other movies are but they still entertain.
As for the cheesy lines, like " put the bunny in the box" , "paper or Plastic" or even the naming the cars from the rev's scene in Gone in 60 seconds, its an expected part of these types of movies now.
Big Arnie is probably the biggest culprit for cheesy lines, although its the same line in every blooming movie, they still manage to write it in to his movies " I'll be Back".
Mediocre movies have their place, they are not great, but they are not all that bad.

Yeah agreed. Enjoyable in a "guilty pleasure" type way.
I thought "Last Man Standing" was a "Fist Full of Dollars" remake/tribute?

Well yes, it wes a send up of a Fist full of Dollars, although A fist full of dollars was a remake of Yojimbo, which in itself was a send up of a Dashiell Hamnett novel Red Harvest.
Another movie which was never a patch on the japanese original was " the Magnificent Seven " a " Seven Samurai" remake, and they added to the collection with " battle beyond the stars" .
Did you ever see the French movie Nikita, there was a US version named The Assasin with Bridget Fonda, the French one was fantastic, then the yanks go and make a very poor "copy".

Yeah Assassins was poor.
Although Magnificent VII rocked. Maybe I'm just a big western softie! Yul Brenner rocks too. Especially in Cool Runnings!

I know a lot of people love "The Magnificent 7", I found it was a game of spot the difference, Dont get me wrong I love a good western, although i found the ones with an eastern original tended to pale in comparison.
Yeah Cool runnings was a great laugh, I loved that movie.
