Still think the best striker in Europe is Shevchenko. He's in a group with Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. Got to fancy him there. Seems to priced between 20 and 25-1 by most bookies. Good each way value I think at least

Owen, Ronaldo or Van Nisselroy....
but if looking for something worth winning I say Klose but the home advantage would have to work well to play enough games!
Klose wont even be Germanys leading scorer- podolski will be- I think hes a good bet- I also thought Luca toni as hes been sensational this year but it seems as if Italy prefer Gilardino even though Luca toni is the first player to score more than 30 goals in serie A in something like 40 years(looks as tho he going to be on bench tho) Henry is my favourite tho as they have easiest group and think he'll score 4 or 5 in group stage alone, david villa as an outside bet is good value and maybe gerrard since he's taking Rooneys role Good start for Klose... not that I took my own advice and backed him!

Personally, i know he isnt much cop (but the top goalscorers never tend to be the obvious ones e.g. Baros etc) but i fancy a flutter on Pauletta at 28/1. Portugal have a very easy group stage and he has an excellent internatinal goalscoring record (think he has 41 goals)
I lumped on at 27/1 nice start to get a goal on 5mins

Landon Donovan is the all-time leader in a-ssists for the US of A's soccer team.
Ryan Chiang rooms with Donovan on the road. There's a good chance we could see some scores from him over in Europe this summer.

Tough one to call
Klose has 2 but may now be rested in Germany's final group game as they have all but won it Villa has a couple for Spain but if they get through then it looks like France in the 2nd round and Brazil in the QF's Even though he drew a blank im going for Italy's Toni as that was by far their toughest game and with 2 "easier" games and a very nice prospective passage through to the semis he could be value.

I had a nice little bet on David Villa top scorer back in April
£5 @ 250/1, he was injured at the time, broke his foot i think so he was doubtful but i looked at spains group and had to back all the spain strikers.
they are likely to score 10+ in the group stage with their group so lets keep our fingers crossed, go Villaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
