We have a raise, re-raise-all-in and call!

Chubbs Two Clubs
Rob

Board  three clubs

Chubbs doubles up and we're back to the two of them being almost even. Rob has about 700k and Chubbs has 900k, blinds are 10k/20k.

Ariston - it's funny you said that because I just had the same conversation with Nick W. Cheesy

Simon Nowab is the MIDLANDS MEDLEY 2006 CHAMPION winning £38,100

Rob raised to 100k and Chubbs moved all-in, Rob dwelt for a while and Chubbs said, "If you call now it's all over baby."

Rob eventually called.

Aye Carumba!

What a night!!

Come on hands ups, who predicted a DTD 1-2?...  I think we all had a funny feeling that, when the dust settled and the smoke cleared, it would be those two cheeky chappies playing heads up.

I have some awesome piccies, which I'll merely tease you with. Keep a keen eye on the main site, as they'll all be up tomorrow, including one of the boys shoving all the dosh into one single bin bag.

For now though, all that's left to do is thank Flopsy, who was relentlessly enthusiastic all weekend and a complete bundle of energy, and the Grosvenor Casino who, once again, provided us with a top week of poker.

Time for bed mi thinks, I'm positively cream-crackered.

Next stop Paris for the World Poker Tour. See you soon gang!

Over and out.

ps. Has anyone got a fork?...

WOW!!! for entertainment value this was one of the best comps I've ever been involved in.

Kudos to the Dusk Till Dawn team, (so tough to play against, but great fun) Well done Chubby!

Thanks to Snoops and Floppy for the fantastic updates, you have no idea how hard these guys work

Congratulations to all at Walsall Grosvenor for yet another superb festival, I can't wait for the next one

And last but not least, a big thanks to the members of blonde who wished me well today, and thank you for all the PMs. You guys, (and the money) make it all worth while.
