Kilmarnock. Famous for the Killie Pie.  It won the award for the best maker of pies a few years back.

hmmmmmm  Chickn and Mushroom loovely jubbly it was too.

But they changes caterers tos aves costs and came into line with the Old Firm.

I believe they were made by Brownings the Bakers, who luckily for me have a shop in Irvine, which is a nice lunchtime treat when I am working down that way...

Mr Tight, Flitwick is famous amongst Herts & Beds towns as venues where I have scored half centuries !

'emel 'empstead is famous for a big roundabout and a big fire - er.. that's it !

Except, I thought I'd google some 'emel 'istory and came up with the following:

Dave Vanian (real name David Letts), the lead singer of The Damned, was born in 1956 and lived in Chaulden

'Just for you, here's a love song......." Oh happy days !

Blackpool------

1st Town with electric street lights.

And 2 stories about the Tower wether they are true or not i don't know.

Firstly, because the land it is built on is soft, before they poured or laid foundations, they put cotton down first so it actually stands on Cotton.

Secondly it is rigged with explosive so that if it ever does fall it will only fall into the sea because the explosives are rigged to go off if it leans too far inland.

Uddingston, home of the world famous Tunnocks Teacake, Jimmy Johnstone &  Peter Manual(serial killer hanged in 1958)

The last one is obviously not fun but it is a fact!
