15,000!!!

Yup, & blinds begin at 50-100, & there is a 15 minute wee break at the end of each level, & a 105 minute Dinner Break mid-evening.

Fantastic! I missed the update yesterday, this looks like some comp! Gl to all playing!

How many runners are there in total? Approx.

P.S. if Jen wants to sleep all week i am sat here passport in hand!

Don't know the field size yet Flushy. About 120 played yesterday, but a lot of folks had not signed up yesterday. I imagine about the same today.

I shall be vacating the # 2 Updaters Seat tomorrow, to make way for sloppy to strut his stuff, & i will be homeward bound on the 0900 Eurostar, with a day in London with 425 & PNL, a couple of meetings & then, at last, home on Thursday morning.

You've done A great job on this 1 tikay.

These updates are genuinely EXCELLENT.

Surinder Sunar IS here.

OK, I'm off for a table wander now, to see if I can find any interesting tables. Still no sign of Jen, so bear with me please.

Well sloppy, if they are half as good as yours, then, well, yours are twice as good.

Have a safe journey tomorrow Bud, I wish I could stay all week, but things to do, people to see, cats to feed.

Here's Mr Colclough, & sat to his left, a gentleman from The Adams family, if I'm not mistaken.

1 other thing m8 have you heard about this 6 seater thingy in bolton on the 1-2nd july?added money and you cant buy into it ?

Hi Sofa. You are referring to the Poker 6 event, a new concept brought to you by Blue Square and Grosvenor Casinos. There is a total of £21,000 added across the weekend - £7,000 to the main prize pool, £9,000 to a consolation tournament of day 2 for day one losers and £5,000 to the Starting Table Saver prize.

To learn more about the event please take a look at http://www.bluesq.com/pokersix

or read this piece I did for Blonde on it http://www.blondepoker.com/index.php?q=node/2480

It will be possible to buy tickets for the £1,000 event but not until the lion's share of the qualifiers are over - anyone interested in buying in diirectly should email pokersix@bluesqpoker.com and they will be added to the reserve list. There are currently about a dozen people on the reserve list and it is anticipated that there will be roughly 30 or so seats available for direct buy in.  There is no obligation to buy a seat if you put yourself down on the reserve list, so anyone who wants to take part in the event would be advised to get on the reserve list asap and then keep on trying to qualify.

thnx jon just caught up m8 there is a sattslite in cardiff tonight m8 if there is not enough runners is the seat still guarateed m8?thnx for help

Jani Sointula (sorry about the spelling) is the fella with the flowing locks if I'm not mistaken. He might look a little odd, but he can't 'arf play poker. If I can learn to play the game, me & he will be on level terms......

News from Matt Tyler, who tells me he's just played a hand beautifully, given it's his biggest ever comp by a mile.

4 limpers, BB, a  serial over-bettor makes it 450, Matt calls with  , the others all Pass.

Flop

Serial Bettor makes it 2.5k, Matt calls, he thinks his Ten is good.

Turn.....

Now Matt is up & down, Serial Bettor makes it 5k, Matt still thinks he's winning, but maybe he shoulda pushed here.

River....

Serisal Man bets 5k, leaving just 2.5k behind now. Matt dwells, eventually calls, & Serial Man insta-mucks.

Matt Tyler, blondeite, 31k. How good does that sound?

.....and here is our Hero, Matt Tyler, just after that very nice coup. The guy to his right, in the black shirt, is monster online hottie "Elky". Anthony Lellouche is on the same table.
