Hello Snoops, Jen, Banjofish!

Great updatering. been out all day, but now I'm back, and I'm here for the duration.

Evening, RED!  You're going to hit the Quiet Time in about an hour when everyone disappears for dinner break (I think Team Blonde will be hanging out with Jan'n'George), but today has been anything but a fold-fest as the collection of players still remaining are the action-y sort.

Feriolo just loses a whole heap of chips.

The pot must have been around the 150k mark with the board showing

Strandlii moves all-in for 30k on the river.

Feriolo only has 25k, but he seems to know he's beat, and decides to fold, thereby making him the latest shortstack.

Strandli shows

Christer Johansson is OUT.

I was watching the other table at the time so was unable to catch the hand.

Christer was short though, so he could have held any two cards.

Hi there,

From what I understand, two of your countrymen are left in the tournament - Karsten Johansen and Christian Gruntvig.

Do you know much about these two?

It's Chip Count Time:

Table Little Chip

Henrik Witt       310,000
Patrice Boudet  213,000
Philip Yeh         350,000
Christian Grundtvig  300,000
John Jerney        65,000
Henri Boutboul   120,000

Table Big Chip

Karsten Johansen   160,000
Patrick Schuhl        290,000
Romain Feriolo          25,000
Kenneth Strandli     180,000
Thomas Wahlroos    660,000
Jani Sointula           440,000

I think when Christen Johansson went out, Snoopy tried to make a bet with Rolf, backing Wahlroos against him...but Rolf's not an idiot - even being unsure of the chip counts the round of applause immediately preceding the offer made him correctly suspicious.

A great big French Outdraw Cheer just went up as shortstack Romain Feriolo at least doubles up with a suckout against .  I give those suits at random (having been told the detail by helpful Edward Rhee whose knockout from the comp hasn't lessened his interest in the game) because it's important that one of Feriolo's Nines was of a suit which could four-flush on the river, saving his bacon.
