dont talk to Red Dog about santa, that man is so mean, when his kids were small he used to go outside on xmas eve, clap his hands loudly, then go inside and tell them that someone had just shot santa... so no presents.

And...... the only reason he got double glazing was so that the kids couldnt hear the ice cream man Smiley

Incidentally, Simon's holding in that previous hand was AQ.

On a board of 8 8 8 5 5 Simon Nowab moves in and eventually gets a call from Peter Roche. Simon has 9 4 vs Peter's J 3 - split!

Tikay walked over to table 2 to find Peter Roche and Dave Colclough in a pot with a board of Q J 6 5.
There's a reasonably-sized pot built up already and on the turn Peter Roche has essentially put Dave all in.  He calls; the cruel Q J 2-pair has found Peter with 5 5 - having turned the set to knock him out in 15th place.  Eek.  I think there's a break soon - they look like they need it and I could do with a pizza.

Kev turns the gas off to turn his bacon over

He fell over with a bottle of JD in his hip pocket, his trousers were wet, he said "God, I hope its blood"

Little loud chatting coming from the tables regarding a potential 5000 for the bubble (14 players left) - think there's too much arguing going on and the TD has set them off again.

In situations like this, surely it makes sense to take 5k off the top prize for the bubble boy, this would speed the game up and save all the waiting for hand for hand play.

The short stacks at this tense bubble stage (we're hand-for-hand) are Achilleas Kallakis with 32,000 and Simon Nowab with around 16,000. Just to keep you on the edge of your collective seats.

13 seems a strange number to be in the money.

 Huh?
