I always liked her play and her commentary but why do we never see her on tv anymore? Does she not play as much?

I don't really know much about her play. But I was never a fan of her commentaries. She spoiled a lot of TV poker for me.  I prefer Barny Boatman and Gary Jones.

She played much of the recent Walsall festival too

Very aggressive, fearsome player

Much like her commentaries which I like for their directness but I know many feel overstep the mark in their implied criticisms

Chili & I had a very long chat with Lucy last night in Walsall.

She says she is "bang out of form" & so is not playing much until it turns.

She was extremely helpful to Maria, giving her a whole load of help & advice. Top Lady.

She was not invited, oddly many may think, to commentate upon the latest series of Late Night Poker.

As a player, I consider her to br World-Class - her record confirms that.

She was on my table for the £150 PLH R/B at Walsall.

Just out of interest, there was a hand where i raised preflop, received avout 100 callers, including Lucy, Flop came T-8-2, everyone checked (I had 9-6... eek), Turn came a 4. She bet 700 (about pot), I almost called in preparation for a river bet, Maeyboy called in LP. River = 7. (darn, I would have made my straight!) Lucy checks, MB bets, then Lucy reraises for most her stack (!!). MB moves in and Lucy is pot committed and calls.

Lucy = 2-2

MB = J-9

I would have done my chips in, but I just thought it was an interesting hand with a strange check raise on the end.

Julian didn't seem to think it was odd, but I didn't see the benefit of reraising. I would have just called. Maybe that's why Julian and Lucy do better than me.

I always liked Lucy's commentary; a bit like Nic Szeremeta, I thought she complemented Mr. May well.
