dont know how they can get away with it, surely the players are nevers (excuse spellin) and haveing to waite another 45 mins is terrible, they obviously have no idea what it is like to be one of the players there,  dont care how much experience you have when you are in a major final is bad enough but to make you waite for somert or nout is terrible,  the tv guys should of had the place ready for 2pm ready to start at 3

just my view

agreed mate, what happens if the players are late?
when the tv folks are ready the players should say "we'll be another half hour or so yet"

The Tv crews normally listen to the players. After my AK had been beat by 8T in my live BPO heat they went to commercial and I went for a cig and was joined by 2 of the other players. The producer said you only have 2 minutes lads to which I replied you only have 3 players if you dont want to wait for us. He said what did I want him to do to fill the time and I suggested they gave Carlo a couple of cards and ask him for a decision  Wink They didn't restart the game without us surprisingly.

you see these tv finals with players regularly missing.
Did you ever see the one where the cameras followed the fella outside for a fag in a limit final?
"he called with jack high!!"

Hello there- I have joined the as-yet empty TV Filming Room in a little corner behind a slightly threatening looking piece of camera equipment on a pivot which swings about two inches from my head. But I have a clear view and will be able to bring you that action as soon as it starts...

Do all scandy players look like boyband members? Although his eyes do seem to be a bit "colchester"- think he may have had a pint of 2.

The players have been allowed On Set where it's all bright and shiny.  I heard them being told off, as "white is not a good colour for TV.  Grey is great."  They are doing tests to determine how they'll look when the cameras get going.

They look like a bunch of scruffy newsreaders.
