How old is he? 28/29? If someone could kick the desire back into him I think he could get back to being a top top striker... he was written off before 2002 finals and did the job. Just looks like he needs to find Dorethy!

He needs to loose 2 stone in weight IMO.

Sadly though when you have the money he gets per week it makes no difference he oculd hang upw is boots and is still a millionaire and happy for the rest of his days.

I really think cases like this show give credence to a cap on salaries.

If you look at that video, and then watch how he runs and turns now, you will notice that his knees dont allow him to turn and run how he would like to, hence the reason why he doesnt train and the reason why he should be representing the Brazilian sumo wrestling team.

Big difference for me Rooky is Gerard is playing for a club he loves, I don't think Gerrard would be the same player if he spent a few year at say chelsea, barca or millan.  I don;t think he would have the same desire tow in after a few years of earning millions.
