I love Tim henman, Ive made so much money backing against him in the semis.

I remember about 4 or 5 years ago i was in hertfordshire and i had about 2k on me, i was drinking with some people raving about how henman was gonna get turned over by ivanisavic.

I backed ivanisavic to bt him a 6/4 i think for £1000.

I remember that i done the rest of he money i had on me in the betting shop and half of it was for a car i was supposed to be buying my girlfriend.

I was praying that ivanisavic would do it to get my dough back.

rained off all day!!!!! i couldn't go back to London without the money so stayed at my mates house.

Saturday, same thing intermittent play due to rain, had to kip at my mates house again!!!!

sunday he finally gets the win but i was out with my mate and didn't find out till the next morning, It must have been the longest tennis match in history i mean ffs, i was under so much pressure for 4  days!!!!!!!

I was going to put it all back on him to bt rafter in the final on the monday but didnt really have the bottle, it was all or nothing i didnt want to just put the £1k profit on as i'd sweated so much for it and i didnt have the bottle to put the lot on as i knew my missus suspected after not seeing me all weekend that something along these lines had occurred, shame, it was a brilliant final i remember and he won it!!

I'm not talking about his talent. - he's an ok player but he's never actually won anything of note.  Its his personality i can't stand. - those fake fist pumps, his wooden smile, his chumpy chin, his square haircut, his monotone voice, his inability to accept he isn't good enough, his criticism of anything but his own play, complaints of bad calls, bad bounces, uneven courts etc etc.  Unlike Baron, i CAN explain why i hate him. - its just everything about him that i find annoying, he honestly makes my blood boil and sends me on proper tilt.. TIGER TIM, MY ARSE!!

My point is you dont see his personality - you see his 'professional' side.  I'm sure he has never called himself tiger tim and probably cringes just as much, if not more, than everyone else - I think it was a commentator being ironic that came up with it.

I'd suggest not watching Wimbledon whilst playing a cash game!! But you probably wont have to avoid it for longer than todays game!

For pure sex appeal, you can't beat Martina Hingis .  I also rate her for the win as well

You're only saying that because Davenport isn't playing this year  Roll Eyes

lol   I have always had a crush on Hingis. Unfortunately she only seems to date rich men like Sergio Garcia and Magnus Norman.   I better get the WSOP won quick if I am to stand a chance  Cheesy

Martina out, no real surprises since she is largely overrated by most.  Just gotta sweat Justine now, she is playing really well and I still don't see a reason why she can't win it.

Ugh horrible game, had £120 on Justine from the go but laid her off at 1.49 before the match to lock a £60 profit, but would have been £400 if she kept her game together.  She injured her shoulder at the start of the second set which proved costly in the end...

Or was it because she finally faced one of the big serving women?

IMO, this was her best chance at winning Wimbledon. She is a great player, I hope she does win Wimbledon one day.

Mauresmo played fantastically but you could visibly see that Justine was having trouble with her first serves, she missed something like 50% of them.
