Hi "baldy", aka "odd-shaped balls" aka "Chris".

I must confess, I know Chris from another place where I wear a different hat - Poler Night Live, & their Forum.

I was telling a train story one night on PNL - they LOVE that sort of thing, who does not? - and with 4 hours to blather away, it's a great opportunity for me to spread the train gospel  A platform, if you like.....

So he wrote to me & offered to let me spend a day in his signal-box - does it get any better?

THEN he invited me for a round of Golf in the Peak District.

Be nice to him. Right? He's a TRAIN person!

sorry but i think all mention of trains should be banned from this forum due to the fact that the train has ruined all those jobs in the country just think of how many more buses we would need how many more road workers and car manufactors would be required if it wasnt for the evil train
