I'm so sick of hearing about Andy Murray every bloody year, and its going to happen for the next 10 years every bloody wimbledon or major tournament he's in. Blah blah blah Murray blah blah I'm so sick of the media hyping him I'd prefer anyone else won. And you just know we're going to hear about it all the time if he does win anything and its not like he's even English he's blimmin Scottish and our Tennis players suck ( whats tim henman ever going to win ) and you just know the Scots will be crowing about it for decades if he ever wins anything.

I don't know why Tennis and Athletics are still represented by 'Great Britain' instead of England, Scotland etc... The Olympics are being held in London, how many Scottish people will class the 2012 Olympics as their 'Home games'? None!

I Think Murray is going to be a superb tennis player (if he gets himself a decent coach).
And i think it can only be a good thing for british tennis.
enman gave us all some excitement over the years at wimbledon and he is now at the wrong end age wise.
So I hope he gets right up in the top 20 and keeps british tennis alive.

I agree about Murray. So far I am not a fan. I have a fear that for the remainder of my natural life, he will be a large feature on Scottish TV. When someone wins something in Scotland, that is a ticket for the rest of their lives to be interviewed and paraded in front of the cameras. We worship people who do well at anything. Just wait until tank or another Scot wins the WSOP. They will be on every news report from that point on.
I hate that aspect of Scottish sport in general.

I hope Murray wins loads.
He will have to do well to out-do Henman. People have a tendency to dismiss Henman because he has not won a Grand Slam event (and now never will) but he does have an enviable record.
4 Wimbledon Semi-finals French Open and US Open Semi-finals in the same year ATP Masters Title (Paris, where he defeated Federer and Roddick en-route) Former World No. 4
Plenty of players would love to have that on their CV.

Very disrespectful. Dislike him because he's Scottish? He's a damn lot better than Tin Henman & will achieve more too. He's beating #3 seed Roddick as I speak, if that';s not world class I don't know what is.

But why British Tennis? Funding. Same as athletics. I like Murray he has personality unlike Henman. Nationality doesn't matter to me.

Tremendous talent, going to get better physically too...still growing
couldn't care less if he was English, Welsh, N Irish or Scottish. He's a brit and he SHOULD win grand slam titles.

But why British Tennis? because there is a BRITISH tennis federation that is reckonised world wide most team sports the british nation splits down country barriers which is a good thing as it allows the UNITED KINGDOM to field 4 teams where as most NATIONS only get to field 1 are you just upset because you know that england will never be good enough to hold the world elephant polo title without scotland

insert Tim for Andy insert Henman for Murray insert Scottish for English insert English for Scottish insert ( we dont have ANY good players ) in brackets and insert English for Scots and thats how WEVE been feeling for the LAST 10 years.
