Paul King is back down to 5k after running A-5 into A-T on a board of A-5-rag-T

He did confess however that he rather greedily, perhaps, trapchecked the flop. Could have been worse though, he manage to avoid losing his entire stack.

In more joyful news, he now has his stack in nicely easy-to-count piles. Good lad. Obviously took my warning earlier on very sriously indeed.

Seeing as though there have been no ruthless demands for norkage, I'm going to treat you with some top totty courtesy of the dab hands of tikay.

Good things come to those who wait...

They are setting up the tables, chips & dealers for Flight Two, which will start shortly & run in parallel with Flight One. The Flight Two players are being asked to register immediately.

A prize for anyone who can tell us why they had two separate flights.

Looky looky, it's the Flushster. Down to 5,100 after running Queens into Aces. Managed to get away on the turn though.

Who is that lovely little thing?

Steady on Jim, that's Claire, one-time Updater for blonde, & she's spoken for. All enquiries should be addressed to Luke Smith.

I just bumped into Lord Gosney, evidently a Flight Two runner. He has the ideal game for this format, I'd say.

"The Buffet is now open" boomed the PA system, so I trotted across at the double. The queue was 25 yards long.

Have you learned nothing from me?

Bullit Pete just spotted, another Flight Two contender.

The buffet queue has gone, so I jumped in sharpish. "Ticket please" says the lady who was not on Reception. "Ticket?".

Oops.....

Yes, but I just can't get the hang of joining the queue at the front end.

And where did Paul Moss get those chips from?

Aces versus Hulme's Nines.

In fact, he warned him not to raise, but he still di. 7 high flop, all the chips moved in on the turn.

Did they arrange two flights, and staffing arrangements for such, on the basis that they were expecting a load more runners?

combination of the football and WSOP must have reduced the field somewhat compared to expectations?
