I don't see how Sven was to blame. We can't take pens is the problem. The first pen is the most importent and Lampard yet again missed and the rest weren't much better.
I wouldn't like to be Ronaldo if he doesn't sign for Real Madrid and the ref and cheating let us down. If we ever play like the Portugese team played tonight, I'll be embarrassed to call myself English.

He had a fit striker on the bench - I know it wasn't too popular taking Theo in the first place, but if he's taking him, bring him on - I guess that just justifies your arguement more (and I don't really disagree) but we lost tonight due to a dodgy ref descission and pens. Carraghers pen should have counted - what's all this "oh I'm not ready" carp all about?
I honestly thought tonights performance was one of the best we've seen under Svens leadership and I'm almost saddened to see him go, but that could be more nervous of the future.

1: What was the dodgy referreing decission that cost England the match? 2: The referee never blew his whistle for Carragher to take his penalty in the first place England lost because of Svenss negative tactics and the fact they werent good enough when it mattered. |
