What did Ronaldo do wrong i am confused!!!

Was it not Rooney who did the stamping, as for the Ref's pause is it not possible he was taking advice from the linesman or 4th official?

Rooney cheated, he paid the price, nuff said.

England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed Rooney was given his marching orders for the alleged stamp.

I guess that solves the mystery?

It was always a fair point.

The fact that people didn't hear pundits say what they did doesn't change the fact that they did say it.

A pundit panel with Ian Wright and Alan Shearer on it is hardly likely to be impartial.....

Rooney cheated, he got punished, he no doubt regrets it and will probably be hated for it by millions of jealous people untill those same people want him to save Englands bacon in the future.

I agree 100% - I was only pointing out what they said! Don't shoot the messenger!

It is clear from Bongo's link that both the pundits and I were wrong. He was sent off for the stamp, probably after one of the officials said something in his earpiece.
