Hopefully someone who's made the Vegas pilgrimage can help me out with a couple of questions on cash handling.

Basically:

1) how do you get your bankroll to Vegas?

2) how do you transport it around Vegas?

Say you're playing in the Rio and at midnight you want to check out the action at the Bellagio - I'm comfortable with the chips on the tables but not walking around with bundles of cash!?!?

Hope these questions make sense.  Maybe I'm having a  here but I can't quite figure this out!

Thanks.

1) Cash

2) Take whatever amount you think you will need for the night and leave the rest in the hotel safe. Dont forget it isn't Scotland and you wont get jumped on 16 times every time you turn a corner!!  Wink (plus its that hot that you usually get taxis from every destination as walking is too much like hard work!!)

Thanks for the quick response Matt.  I guess I'm just unused to carrying large amounts of cash.  Like you say, I try not to do it too often in Glasgow!

I went there last year and toom $10k which I took in travellers cheques that was fine. For bigger amounts say $30k how do people take that over there? Also if you get a big win (in my dreams!) say several hundred thousand, how would you get that back, us cheque, bank transfer???

a lot of the US casinos have a wire/cashier facility, where you can wire ahead a sum of money - which also can have the added advantage of advertising your arrival as some kind of "high roller" - You might suddenly find yourself upgraded to a much nicer suite.
