Hi Richard (dik9)

I'm hoping to pop over at some point this weekend and register for your Sept' poker tournaments.

Is there a dress code?  Do I need to book a table in the restaurant?

Just to confirm, I can register for my fellow travelling poker mates?  Smiley

Thanks.

sorry just got in from work!

Yes there is a dress code! No sportswear, ripped jeans, hats. Preferred dress would be smart/ smart casual. It seems to be getting more lax unfortunately. It states that to avoid any chance of dissappointment please avoid wearing jeans and trainers. Although they seem to be quite flexible on this!

No card game friday or saturday though. Sunday is OK 20 NLHE usually about 60-70 runners. Hope to see you there, please introduce yourself, I am the muppet in a tux!

No problem entering your mates.

To avoid any chance of disappointment best to book for restaurant although not normally neccessary.

All the best
Rich

Rich,

I think I'll nip over tomorrow night with the other half.  Maybe increase your blackjack profits  Wink

I'm sure I'll pop over before Sept and play some of those 20 rebuys too.

If you're not there, I assume I can just pay at the cash desk and you or other poker staff don't need to be around for registering?

Thanks.

Impressive casino.  The cash desk coped, I even threw in a few questions to try and slip 'em up  Wink

I like the look of your poker area, dik.  Trying to find time to come over for a rebuy tourney.  What is the regular schedule again?

Thanks.

Ohh yes, thanks Ian.

Just seen the results from some of the earlier £20 rebuys.  How long is the rebuy period?

Hoping to come back on Sunday and give it a try.

Sun, Mon, Tues, Weds £20 NLHE all start at 9.15

Suggest you get there about 8.15 to guarantee seat for Sunday I turned 16 away last Sunday as over max capacity

Rebuy period is 90 mins at a flat ante 25/50 20 min break for food and then a 20 min clock after.

Glad you liked the place, sorry about the price of drinks, there are a few reasons for that.

Cheers

Nice to meet you last night Richard.

On the whole I was very impressed and enjoyed the tournament very much, although I'm not a big rebuy fan.  You have a very good card room at Broadway, nice friendly staff, free food and even the locals aren't too grumpy  Wink

See you at festival time.... ohh, can you post the structures for the festival tournaments when you have them?

Thanks.

No Julian, The Broadway is near Birmingham city centre, just off 5 Ways Island.
