Thought you guys might be interested in this report:

I have to confess, I thought Hellmuth was yesterday's news, but this showing proves that he's still up there with the best, and he's got quite a few years left on Brunson and Chan too. With WSOP numbers increasing every year, surely Phill will, if he wins 2 more, become a record breaking bracelet winner whose feat will never be surpassed.

Or am I speaking booooooooooolocks?

There's life in Chan yet. When I saw him win his tenth last year I was in awe. Truly awesome to watch.

I have often speculated on here & elsewhere that Mr Hellmuth will never win another WSOP Bracelet, on the grounds that he has "yesterday's game" and a suspect temprement.

Though he did not win this, it's clear he still has what it takes, & I'm happy to accept so.

But I still don't like his childish & rude behaviouir at the table......

I think a lot of names proved last year that "yesterday's game" is actually very successful at the WSOP.

But without him, poker would be a duller place. Whilst rude behaviour can be quite upsetting and/or downright ignorant when you are on the recieving end, it makes great viewing. We don't just play to win either. Whilst there is a difference between being rude and table banter, ones poison is another mans pleasure. Then again, as red-dog says - you don't have to like a person to admire what they do. Like Eminem, John Lennon etc for example.
