ok i was planning on playing london or luton but those plans got blown out the water
and bank holiday weekend is hard to make travel arrangemets so i wont be playing then

what else is on this month in the UK freezeout or d/c freezeout wise

bolton grosvenor   cardroom opens 29th aug.

2 pl tuesdays  7pm   5pm saturdays      itsa re-buy though,so gan  canny bonny lad.

yes   it does say two pounds!!!!!

And it's the Sheffield Festival next week I think. Not ideal for Ironside though - it's seriously cramped for room, & there are steps leading up to the Cardroom. There may be a ramp, but I don't recall seeing it.

I've been invited (Invited, get THAT) up to Grosvenor Bolton for the Launch Party of the new CardRoom, think it's August 25th. Jimmy White will be there I gather. Just as long as that Jo is not there.....

Flushie and I may pop in some time over that week, but in Notts on the Thurs and Newcastle on the weekend. Already a member as it's right next to my uni ( very handy I must say  Grin)

Can only think that as there are so many sudents in the near area that is why the buy ins are so low  Huh?
