Would just like to say a big thank you to AdamM for providing mine and Harmony26's first home game experience.

AdamM provided a cracking experience and a nice relaxed enviroment for our first live game, he was a superb host, understanding and patient.

The other players were great and very welcoming, so also thank you to Mr & Mrs Mason, Sara ( AdamM's wife), Tony and Phil.

We both had a great time and look forward to doing it again.

Hi AdamM,

I'd just like to send my thanks also to you and your family and friends, for making my first live game a great experience! I was eager to experience live play but faced it with some trepidation - there being so many differences to playing online.  But you all made Bainn and I both feel very welcomed and I appreciated the patience you showed me when I made an occasional error!

I found it a very valuable experience and learnt a lot about my own game as well as obviously learning more about other players, and their action, in a live sitaution. I was surprised to find how fast action could happen at times and I put myself on tilt a couple of times with my own play, but the banter and atmosphere was so genial and reassuring that I found myself relaxing and settling into my game.  Taking my first pot was great (sorry I knocked your mate out tho' AdamM!).  Cashing 2nd was a wonderful bonus!  I can honestly say I did enjoy myself and the whole experience. Would love to repeat it again!

So many, many thanks to AdamM, and company, for making, what could have been a terrifically stressful experience, a most enjoyable one - really appreciate it.  Many thanks also to Tikay for some very helpful advice in making the transition from internet to live play and for making this all possible in the first place. Bainn - thank YOU for introducing me to poker in the very first instance!

TC all.

Harmony26

PS: AdamM - just love the t-shirt you personalised for us too - shall be placing another order soon!

Music to my ears.

A big "thank you" to Adam for sorting this for Harmony (aka Helen) & Bainn (aka Christian).

We all have a duty to help newbies make the transition to "Live" play, & protect them from the inevitable rough & tumble that can from time to time happen. Helen & Christian may do another "Adam Home game", then, next stop, it's Gala Notts we hope.

Thanks Adam.

Hello there! As promised I looked out for your post!

Well done to both of you for your 2nd place finishes, and I'm sure you'll be welcome again to Adam's home game. And like I said before if you ever fancy the Gala on one of the Tuesday/Wednesday/Sunday games let me know and I'll sure I'll be able to accompany you!

Greetings Phil, cheers for the congrat's.

Indeed we will have to meet up at the Gala, the Sunday tourney would seem most likely due to our other commitments.
