I shall be accompanied by Nick tonight..........

Excellent. I met Nick a while back as he was warm up on one of the heads up with Richard Herring shows. A good bloke.

Are these resits Sark?  If so they hold them late at your Uni don't they?

Our Sem 3 resits are w/b 21st August and "returners" come back to Uni w/b 25th September  (1st years enrol on 18th)

I'm know wondering if our academic year is out of sync with everyone else's?

Sark is actually a forum bot.

It is the only sensible conclusion I can come to

The bot's programmers search google and come up with horses eating Thomas the tank engine books, potting cacti etc to throw us off the scent

He can never actually be met in person beacuse he is run off a rackety old mainframe at St Andrews University

Only this time, in needing to find an excuse not to attend bb3, his programmers got the academic year wrong. They have been found out

Sark's cover is blown

The name stands for

St
Andrews
Research
Computer

but Sark was better as a user name

Yes Trace they are resits.  Earlier in the year I didn't attend a couple of classes that I was suppose to.  I thought I would be able to talk my way out of actually needing to attend them.  My points calculations were slightly off  Cheesy.  Now to make up the required points for 3rd year entrance I need to resit two exams. Two Geography exams and take a two week refresher course.  I am not entirely sure what the classes were about or who taught them.  My friend said the guy looks like Ian Hislop and speaks with a strange accent.  I need to  pass them to ensure I gain entrance to next year, the thought of spending anymore time there is painful. I hate the place  Cheesy

Scarey thing about Sark's post is that he sounds just like the "normal" students I have to put up with on a day to day basis.  lol
