Had a go last night, went all in with pair of Jacks. An American had pair of Jacks, thought it would be split pot, but four diamonds came up and he had the Jack of Diamonds.
Tried tonight and had a pair of Jacks again, thought lightning can't strike twice. This time a Canadian, he had a pair of 6's (
,
). Up come's four spades and knocked out again by a flush.
Apart from having a bad run it was a bit annoying as there was only three brits at the table. Surely Ultimate can prevent non uk players joining in? Also found the chat function a bit of a struggle. Doesn't exactly encourage me to bring my money to their website.

Shoot, it was the last qualifier tonight I think, forgot it. Trying to regain last nights Laddies losses. I agree the whole comp has been a cock up by ub, the septics were just not playing and being obstructive. I am not sure that I would want to put money in their bin. I got an email from them last week, wanted to fill a questionaire but first I had to put my username and password in the email and press a button. As one who gets emails from fake banks, fake ebay, fake neteller asking me for passwords etc I know not to follow the istructions, why the hell did ub use this method when all they needed to sort out was request to log on ask the
online.

There was a thread on 2+2 about it. Consensus was it was a "phishing" expedition. No. I didn't get one so my 10 cents there is safe
