Cassidy and Greenstein have been eliminated in quick succession.

Ivey took out Cassidy and is now on 530k.

Singer took out Greenstein and is now on 700k.

And with enormous blinds and the game being now Omaha 8/b, Patrik Antonius found himself desperately short, and moved in once, finding a river which brought him a low to chop the pot, and then again.  This second time was more dramatic - he raised on the button, and it was really a 'pass or put him all-in' moment.  All-in it was, as it happens on a flop of two hearts Two Diamonds.  There really was no option, as he'd left himself less than a big blind (such things happen in Limit).

Turn:
River:    at which point Patrick said simply, "Amazing river."  And it was: it fit his perfectly and he doubles up.  Much to our equal delight and chagrin.  OK, unequal.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Big hand involving Betchel and Singer.

finished up as:

Betchel =

Singer = three clubs

Board = three diamonds two spades

Bechtel wins the low with 4-6 and Singer takes the high with 9-7 (two pair)

Just to say, I've spent the last hour catching up with this thread, it's an awesome read - the best update thread yet, I think.

After a brief attempt by Doyle Brunson to make the final ten-handed is met with opposition from Phil Ivey and Chip Reese (at which Doyle laughingly said, "Tremble tremble, fear fear fear..." it looks like it's been resolved at last.)

Williamson is our TV Bubbler - and we're down to the final Nine!
