If rudling ends up heads up with rob he will be destroyed.

Nice bok Ariston

Personally I thought Dave Rudling played a good game and was the deserved winner - and the above quote that he will get destoyed is a bit strong in HU when talking about a player Ariston claims not to know!

I know you are all rooting for Rob as a forumite but fair play to the Ruders.

He had a good week, 4th in the European at the VIC for £40k and picked up £50k in the DEN.  Nice one Dave.

There was no offence meant to rudling but Rob is normally a heads up specialist. Also as Rob is a mate I was obviously rooting for him so my comments may have been a little biased. With the huge chip lead I did expect it to be a formaility- ooops. Dave did well and fair play to him but I think a large percentage of people following the thread will have been rooting for rob- you have to give the readers what they want !

I dont think your comments were offencive (and i don't think Dave would take them as such either) and fully understandable that most people would be rooting for Rob.  Nout wrong with a bit of healthy support for your man.  Anyways, all fair and all that....

Dirk, did you know that there is a card room opening in Colchester mid September, HALLELUJAH !!!!
Its gonna be above Molly malones Pub on St. Botolphs roundabout, not much info as yet, but looks promising... could you let Dave know, and perhaps we could get a meet up and a pint organised sometime .

Cheers
Kev.

Kev, thanks for that info - I had no idea!  keep us informed of any developments...

I'll get word to Dave - I know he plays a couple of bigish games round Colchester (or at least used to, not sure if they still exist) so he may well know something about it anyway, but would be good to all get down there for a game and a beer if it gets off the ground.

nice one, yeah it would be great to have a meet up, i hope this place takes off, we certainly need something like this in this area, if i was rich, i would have opened one ages ago.

My brother lives near bury, a village called barrow... so i know where you are.  look forward to seeing you soon.
