I get a message saying    Server not found .   This happens when I click on the FireFox icon on my desktop

I must have a server because I am on blonde now. My emails work fine and I have been playing pokerstars most of the night

Cheesy   I beat Doyle HU.  To be honest it was boring, he didn't want to play high enough.  I then moved onto Patrick Antonius, but he didn't put up much of a fight.  I ended the night by finishing runner up in a $12 STT

I assume you mean Firefox is spitting out a "server not found" message when you are trying to access websites, ie, Blonde or moving to another page on Blonde.

This is down to the server not responding in time when Firefox makes a request for a site or page, and can be simply a lot of traffic on the site you are trying to reach or on the odd occasion, the server (remote pc hosting a site) is temporarily down.

I had similar situation when accessing Blonde earlier, so most likely a traffic problem.

I am only getting a "server not found" message when I click on the FireFox icon on my desktop.  All my shortcuts from my desktop work fine,ie, Blonde, thepokerdb, etc.

This is a mystery.  I ran a spy sweep, virus check this morning. But, it is still not working.

IE still works fine, all my poker sites work fine.  It is only the FireFox icon that doesn't.  If I go into C drive and try to start it from there, I am still unable to get on, I just get " Server not found"

I get this problem with Blonde using firefox regularly.

I cant understand it. Everything else works fine.   Over the last few days, I have added nothing or updated anything.  I really hate computers  Cheesy.   I sent firefox an email.   The last time, I tried to de-install firefox from my computer to go back to IE, when it had de-installed all my shortcuts on the screen didn't respond.  It seems it is imppossible to get rid of the bloody thing once it has been installed ( for me anyway ).

Yep Heid that is what I mean  Cheesy ( I am a self confessed computer idiot.  The terminology always gets me lol )

Do you know if there is a way to fix it?   I emailed them, but have got no reply

Just use IE7.

Sark, just ignore it and use your bookmark. Basically it means the google page is being inundated with hits and cannot respond to your request to load the page in time. Firefox isn't broken, its working as intended.
