right please use this thread for confirming definate team entries please.

use the other bb3 football thread for the usual banter, insults and abuse!

im looking to book a local (to walsall) 5 aside centre for the saturday of bb3 and need to know how many teams we have so i know how many pitches we need and the format we are going to play.

im looking for a lunchtime ko as long as most teams can get there by this time.

depending on entries i cant see the footie taking more than two hours giving us plenty time to get lashed after before the evening festivities begin.

entries open for the next couple of weeks giving plenty of time for team assemblement after which time entry will be closed, venue booked and format constructed.

lets keep the national rivalry here by having teams from different countrys though due to the many english who may want to play i think regional english teams are acceptable.

so please post your team name and who the team captain is please.

Yes, of course.

But there seems to be a bit of confusion as to what is expected. You announced yourself as leading a South team with no further details, and Bongo did the same for a Welsh team. Perhaps clarification is required.

My response was merely to point this out. I did this in a rather offhand manner for which I apologise, but my point still stands.

if we can get 4 teams of up to 10 man squads we just have a round robin. teams will either be 5 or 6 aside depending on pitch size.

20 mins a match fits into a tight 2 hours but if teams ready to go on as a match finishes its possible.

as the poker now brought forward to 4pm i think a 12 start for the footie is best giving enuf time after preperation 4 the poker.

sounds better , 5 mins a half is too short , at the end we would feel as though weve hardly had a game.

2 hrs should be plenty to allow every team and every player get a fair crack ,plus 20 min games should be fine.
