I am a software engineer by trade, and I write mobile application software, amongst other things.

I'm also an avid player of poker, and I also like to keep meticulous records of winnings and losses, and try to keep it all up to date on my website. Only, I suffer from forgetfulness. And it's not nice to sit here and recall a full weeks worth of losses so I can update my diary Smiley

I started to record figures on my mobile phone instead, using the calendar function. And then it struck me... So, I have been busily writing an application for my Symbian phone that will act as a poker diary/bankroll management tool. Then the thought occured that this may actually be useful for many other people too. Scheduling future events, storing details of regularly used card rooms and casinos for ease of reference. Recording expenses such as hotels and flights.

Now, my question to the blonde users (and I know we have may pro players here) would such a tool be useful, and how much would you be willing to pay for it? Taking a gander around such websites as www.handango.com, diary type applications are retailing around $50 but that would have a much greater potential buyers, my app. would be small fry in comparison (or maybe I am a pessimist). I know many of you travel with laptops so may already have much of this stuff covered. But you cant fit a laptop into your pocket. This app would also sync with your PC/laptop if the phone allows and also allow you to sync via the web (such as for updating my poker diary blog).
