Hi guys,

I turned the computer off other night whne itw as bed time and since then the viewing has been terrible on it.

Doea anyone know what the best settings are for the colour and brightness, although I haven't chnaged these or anything else theya ppear to be right out of sync I can't make anything out its all kinda blurry.

Any help much appreciated!!

If you right click on the desktop, go to properties then settings, is the colour option on High 32bit?  Also, it could be the RGB settings on the monitor itself and nothing to do with the computer - check these Smiley

Struggling to see that but if its  DEGAUSS what does that mean??

I honestly haven't a clue that DEGAUSS symbol has like a vertical line through it.

I know exactly what the problem is, you've accidentally hit the mode change from still to movie or vice versa, its happened at my workplace a few times. ( Well, 99% - it looks out of focus right? ).

Also check monitor cable is plugged in tightly.

To fix it you need to fiddle around with your monitor settings on the actual monitor until you find the mode button :-]

Try a degauss, it may work. Check all cables are connected properly too!

Wouldn't system restore yet as i'd guess it's more likely a hardware problem

anyone know any free software to download to burn dvd's. alot of the one's i have found are temp ones and do not do full burns.
