Saw Hayseed Dixie at the Garage a few months ago, they were starting a new campaign - Shave your head for Partick Thistle - you had to be there.

find me a better blues guitarist and I'll eat my strat

As a kid I was metal to the bone, sweating and bleeding trying to be the next Kirk Hammett or Dave Murray. Angus Young and ACDC was the nearest to non-metal I would listen too but I wasn't working on that, it was big haired metal all the way. Then I discovered Stevie Ray Vaughan. For me and many the best bluesman of all time, bar none.

totally changed my outlook on playing music. Still enjoyed my heavier stuff but This is the direction my playing  went.

Why do the great ones die so young?

Somestuff I like.

completely out of left field. contains bad language and most probably offensive content. Damn funny though...

3rd Bass and the Cactus Album, takes me back.

My mate was at the front of the crowd whilst PE were playing, and MC Serch walked up and down the pathway between crowd and stage, and got to shake the mans hand.

A semi decent white rap group eight years before Eminem hit the scene!
