Watched episode 5 of season 2 earlier, disapointed to see at the end it wont be on for another 3 weeks!

Really enjoying it at the moment. Just watched the episode on sky last night, was thoroghly impressed.

It's about time one of the main characters died, but what was in that secret compartment that Loch found?! Argh! Guess I'll just have to wait.

Thought the Loch episode was cool. He's one of the stronger characters, probably more interesting than most of the others combined.

Not too sure about my purgatory theory anymore.

I'm where you are and have no info for spoliers but..... Purgatory adds up. Loch can now walk. Jack sees his dead father. they all have unfinished business on this plane of exisitance! I'm sure thats it. the 'monster' is just delivering them to hell. havn't seen anyone go to heaven yet though? thats my theory anyway.

It's gripping and I think Series 2 is much better.

From what I've seen, they all done something a bit wrong or slighlty iffy, which would explain the purgatory theory.

Jack turned over his pops.
The Korean fella was a gangster.
The Korean lass deceived her hubby.
Soya is a murderer.
The foxy minx robbed a bank.
The preggers bird was gonna give up her kid.
Charlie was a junkie.
Sayid was a torturer.
The two youngsters were courting, even though they were step-sister/brother.


Not sure about Locke or Hurley tho.

Walt confuses me too. Bit wierd how he was some sort of satanic kid with that bird flying into the window and the polar bear appearing when he read the book. Haven't quite linked all that together yet.

Plus Hurley and those numbers got my head spinning last week.

Maybe God crashed the plane so these survivors could sort out their unfinished business.

eg. Jack has now learnt how to let go.
     The father has learnt how to communicate with his kid, etc.
      Hurley needs to solve the mystery of that curse.
     etc

I don't undertsand your theories on Locke and purgatory.

My first assumption was that it was purgatory and they were in a different world or dimension, hence that is why Lcoke could walk.

But now he is struggling again, I've become confused and questioned the theory.

Good point on the boxes. I forgot about that.

Yeah, maybe we'll find out that all the characters are linked somehow.


Not sure about Ethan. They tend to go back to stuff after a few weeks, just like they did in Twin Peaks. Maybe we'll find out where he came from later on.

Btw, those dreams people have now and then are kinda creepy. Remember that one the preggers girl had about Locke and the cot. Why was Locke in that dream?!
