Hi,

I was playing a $30 S&G on Stars at the weekend when there was an argument about some dodgy play and a guy started talking about 'M' and his value?

Then I read this again in Pabs latest diary?

What is M?

Thanks
Steve

M is the size of your stack divided by the cost (in blinds and antes) of playing one orbit.  It basically tells you how many orbits you have left before you are blinded out.

For example, at an 10-handed table, with blinds of 1,000/2000 with a 100 ante and a stack of 25,000 chips you'd have an M of 25,000/4,000 = 6.25, which indicates a pretty short stack compared to the blinds.

I'd have gone for the Whopper, but Vincent didn't go to Burger King, so I wouldn't know what to call it in Europe!
