I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to mis-attribute this quote to Voltaire.

thats an outrage the hustler is a classic, much better than that wooden block trying to potray an english demon vanquisher
Turn it to the Paul Newman Classic

Was out at a comp so missed this but it'd be a non contest IMO. Has to be The Hustler! Picked up the novel (author: Walter Tevis) a few months back and the film is better than the book. That's something of a rarity.
Reading the replies to this has reminded me that Film Four is now FREE so hope to check out some good films I've managed to miss.

a few weeks ago house of wax and saw was on sky movies 1 and 2 respectively at the same time and Ive got no clue about horror films.
Saw looked a bit heavy and i was going to watch house of wax so i belled up my pal who knows about theses kind of films and he was rolling up laughing at the fact i was going to watch house of wax over saw.
Needless to say i wound up watching saw which turned out to be quite good i thought.
