who thinks that they shoulda saved?
whos wife woulda waved?

whos gonna go next year?
whos gonna play, and have a beer?

whos gonna promise to bring it home?
whos standing by,there mobile phone?

whos  got friends to wish them luck?
who hasnt got any and dont give   a  f.?.?.?

who tells the truth and had to stay home?
whos wife didnt care, and never did groan?

from one to another I WISH I WAS THERE,
but im glad that im not ,coz id have had to dye my hair,(blonde that is)

so its good luck to blonde,

Nice one James  thumbs up

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I genuinely wish I was in vegas, but really dont know how I would feel about playnig in a tournament with over 8,000 players. Reading the updates, and hearing some of the horror stories of big names and big reputations crashing and burning in the first hours.

I am a pretty confident in my own abilities as a poker player, but have absolutely no clue how you could possibly prepare for a tournament that might last 2 minutes or 2 weeks.

I think I would sooner take my 10K into a cash game near the exit door of the WSOP room and catch all the tilting steamers after they get busted out on a two outer on ther river.

Sadly I ran out of holidays, some of us have to work for a living.  Sad
May be next year, or the year after.
Agree with Lazaroonie's comments, but guess you have to try it at least once in your lifetime to be able to say i was there and repeating my bad beat story until I am 95.

I was on a family holiday in vegas during the WSOP last year, after visiting the room and watching play for a few hours I realised that i was going to try, on my very limited bankroll to win a seat of some kind for this year. I managed to win a package to one of the smaller events and it was a fantastic experience, but once I got home and started reading updates on the tourneys I felt a little depressed that I wasn't still there, so here's to trying to actually get into the main event next year thumbs up
