There's a player here called Peter Falk.

Well, I guess Columbo would make a pretty good poker player.

He would. If you wanted to know who the winner of the tournament would be, you'd just watch who Colombo spends the whole time with.

I just wondered over to Ian Bradley's table to met with the sight of a vacant seat.

... which either means Lennox Lewis is OUT or he's heard about my guns and went running as soon as he saw me approaching. For once, I think the latter of those two is the more probable.

Bah. Lennox Lewis is OUT.

He limped under the gun with A-T and couldn't release top pair when Cecilia Mortensen's A-Q also hit an Ace high flop.

"It looked like he was getting board," commented Bradley

Previous to his exit, At-It told me of a hand where Lewis limped under the gun and then flat called Cecilia's reaise.

... very sneaky...

all the money went in on a raggy flop, Lewis flicked up his cards into the air, and doubled through.

clearly enjoyed his wsop run

Speaking of Ian Bradley, he is on 12,500

Bradley raises to 600, MB makes it 12,000, and the Big Blind calls.

The dealer collects the chips before being reminded that Ian still needs to call.

Ian does indeed call, but folds to the Big Blind's bet on a Two Diamonds board after all three had checked the raggy flop.

This guy just rushed into the media room blaring on about a 2-outer.

And the culprit?... Chris Moneymaker.

Flop = 9-6-3

MB moves in for 2k, just hundred left behind.

Moneymaker dwells momentarily before making the call with 8-8 - from what I understand, the shrapnel also went in.

Turn = 8

Ouch
