I agree wholeheartedly! as far as I'm concerned that is what should of happened, but if the attempt is set for 72 hours as a benchmark and you don't reach it, you failed, simple as that.

There were also other things that happened along the way, that may have made it not eligable (things we didn't know at the time) I would like to see him attempt it again one day, never though I would say that a year ago lol (it was hell) but with the right back-up I think he could take it.

Dana's screen name is Tescosfinest and her symbol is a cookie.  I don't think she's striking fear into the heart of many (but GO, Show them Who's Boss!!)

Found on recent walkabout with At-It Bradley (who's waiting for his sixth alternate table to become available) :
B4Matt
Jeff Buffenbarger  (wearing one of those oil-slick Star Trek visors)
Lennox Lewis  (followed by full-on team of TV guys)

Also found during said walkabout:

My camera is out of batteries.

How they manage alternates is beyond me...

Its a 10k buyin with a 10k stack, yet people manage to bust out at 25/50  >:?

Ariston is OUT in the first level.  Again.  And steaming about it.

His chips were taken by a Pocket Aces Triple Whammy (in others' hands, not his).  The first chunk went when he had and flopped a set, but the Ace on the flop also brought the Button with his a set...lucky for him they both played slowly.

Then, after someone had exposed an Ace while folding, and another guy dwelled in an "I have an Ace" sort of way before passing, Ariston found in the small blind.  It folded to the button, who raised, Ariston re-raised, the third raise came and before you could say, "10,000 chips" it was all in the middle.  Button man had th other two Aces again, and that was basically that.

Not a happy chappy, and probably avoiding the poker tables for the rest of today.

Pab looks rough due to the cash game he was in last night.  He's not the only one.

AA v KK matey, or as the thread for this year showed, you flop Quad 5's when holding pocket fives and get runner runner'ed by some tosser for a Straight flush!

To keep you entertained during my immensely tedious shopping spree - Quiz time -

Who is this blurry poker player (anyone seen 'Jacob's Ladder' - ooh gives me the creeps)?
